New role: Journalist Mentor, International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF)

I am happy to confirm that I have joined the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) team as their official Journalist Mentor ahead of the upcoming World Championships.
As part of my role, I’ll be mentoring the two winners of the recent IMMAF Young Journalist competition, who will join me on the ground in Abu Dhabi to help the IMMAF team cover the rescheduled 2021 IMMAF World Championships, which will take place from January 22-29.
It’s an honour to be invited to take on this role, and I’m really looking forward to helping two talented young journalists cover the next generation of talented mixed martial artists as they go for gold in Abu Dhabi.
Here’s the video I shot for IMMAF earlier this year to promote the competition. I was later offered the mentorship role, and I’m looking forward to being a part of the IMMAF team at the World Championships in January.
🎙 MMA journalist @simonhead is here to explain why the Young MMA Journalists Competition is such a great opportunity for aspiring MMA media, aged 26 and under.
