British MMA star Jack McGann is swapping the cage for the ring as he makes his professional boxing debut next month.

McGann will feature on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s comeback fight at the Manchester Arena, which will be broadcast live on BT Sport on Saturday, June 9.

And the 25-year-old Liverpudlian has enlisted the help of Conor McGregor’s striking coach Owen Roddy to sharpen his skills ahead of his pro boxing bow.

McGann amassed a record of 11-5 as a mixed martial artist and most recently plied his trade in Russia for Fight Night Global.

Now he’s all set to make his boxing debut in Manchester, where he’ll face Dwain Grant in a six-round middleweight bout.
