Whether it’s on-the-ground, in-person coverage of events or remote text commentary via television, in-studio feed, or live stream, covering live sporting events “in the moment” has always been one of my favourite  aspects of my job.

Over the years I have covered big sports and news events in this fashion for national outlets, providing live minute-by-minute text coverage of a plethora of events, including the FIFA World Cup, the London 2012 Olympic Games, Premier League football matches, world championship boxing bouts and, of course, a host of UFC events.

I also have extensive experience of “on-the-ground” coverage of sporting events, most notably mixed martial arts shows.

From open workouts and media days to press conferences and weigh-ins, I’m experienced in providing comprehensive coverage, tailored to the needs of the outlet.

I can shoot and edit video, present post-produced or live-streamed video coverage, record and produce audio and deliver tight, snappy copy — either live or to deadline — directly from the events themselves.
